KISMET Graphic Novel.
Steve is very pleased to be working on the graphic novel 'Kismet' again
This story was written by the well known Indian film maker
Shamin Desai.Who collaborated with Steve to produce the graphic novel. Unfortunately Shamin passed away
some time ago before the job could be finished. His partner Priyanka Thakran
and Steve have decided to revive the project in Shamins honour.
Below is a new concept painting called 'Spider six'

A new teaser poster for a new film 'Mind Heist' ready to shoot
in 2012.
October 2011
Steve provided the matte artwork for the film Hard Shoulder
which will be released soon. Can't show you that work until
after the films release. I can show you this matte painting below.
Steve did this for fun as a nod to one of his favourite films
Planet Of The Apes.
He photographed his local beach and dunes and painted
the Statue of liberty in later.

Steve's work as a concept and Storyboard artist.

This is an early image for a new project in development.
Here is a poster Steve did recently for 'Liardice films'
The brief requested the image must be painted in an 80's retro style
a bit like the video nasty movie art of that era.
The film is called 'Psoro' and stars Lucas Hanson {Human Centipede 2}

Poster for a new Zombie film with a twist coming out in 2012
This film will be getting the Transmedia treatment by being accompanied by
a graphic novel. Artwork by Steve Simmons written by Nicholas David Lean.

Steve is just about to begin preproduction Storyboards and concept art
for Belief films and Angry Badger productions new film 'Dark Peak'
With Stealth Media Group distributing.
Steve will be restarting his long term project 'The Rift' a 2D animation.
The development stage will be completed and animation will begin.
A Hollywood actor is attached for one of the lead character voices.

are available to view in the illustrations section. Unfortunately Shamin died after a long illness.
